Meeting Grumpy(that is the name my dad goes by)On Monday the 24th my parents arrived from Sacramento. My daddy got to meet Lainey for the first time:) They stayed at John's parent's house and we hung out everyday. Tuesday i set up a lunch date with my parents and their good friend Dottie. We all went to the Burger Lounge and it does not taste as good without the sauteed onions(they give Lainey gas :( )The Webster Family arrived Wednesday and the fun never stopped! Thursday we all enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner( Lainey took at nap the entire time John and I ate...We sure got lucky!) Friday we went to Balboa Park and enjoyed the train and car museums. Saterday we went to a park and got ready for the big dinner before the baby blessing. It all turned out great and the food was delicious. John gave Lainey a beautiful blessing...Thanks again to all that made it! The three of us stayed at Grandma and Grandpas from Wed-Sun it was really nice to be with both families!

Kayley, what a beautiful baby! I can't believe this motherhood stuff, can you? You sound so confident on your blog... am I to understand that you had your baby with out any medicine for pain? If so, then you are my hero-- good job! My mom sent me the hypnobirthing tapes but in the end I just wanted to avoid the pain of it all -- way to go, either way. You and John have good genes together :)
