New Year

Holidays and New Years can be so busy! We have enjoyed good times with family, friends and our own little family.
It's been nice to have John home more because he finished his apprenticeship:) Also he was in a competition for electrical skills and he won first place there and will be competing at the nationals next weekend! GO JOHN! Also he starts school tonight to finish his degree.
As most of you already know were expecting baby #2 in the beginning of July. We will be finding out the sex soon and are so excited!
Lainey is still amazing! little words are starting to emerge and she is getting profecient at 'running'. She still has barely any hair but more and more teeth keep popping out. We just renewed our zoo pass and try to go often because Lainey is amazed by the animals!
In the past two months big events were...beach camping, Lainey climbed in the bathtub, and we had thanksgiving in the desert. We got to have the Hendersons and Mom and Dad Carter visit.John turned 28. Jake left our home to return to the parents and we are hoping all goes well and miss him quite often. John and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary and went to Dana Point for a weekend. Lainey was supposed to stay behind but ended up getting the flu so she tagged along. Luckily we had the help of Jen and Karissa to babysit so we could enjoy ourselves. We have moved again and are loving being on the bottom floor and paying $150 less in rent:)San Diego had a crazy storm and we got hail.
Life is treating us well and we are truly enjoying everyday! Happy 2010 hope it treats all of you well! I will keep this thing more updated!:)
